The Hotel Cosmopolita is a modern hotel set in a former 19th century palace, centrally located one block from busy Piazza Venezia and the imposing Vittoriano monument, a short walk from the ancient historical sites of Rome. The 68 air-conditioned guestrooms have smart classical décor and furnishings with wooden floors and heavy drapes. The marble bathrooms include hair dryers and complimentary toiletries and travel kits. Buses to the Vatican and St Peter's Basilica run from Piazza Venezia (approximately 2.5 kilometers, around 20 minutes journey). Rome Fiumicino Airport is approximately 30 minutes driving time and distance of 25 kilometers.

From the airport there is an express train service to Rome's Termini station every 30 minutes; a single ticket costs 9.50 EUR. Taxis to the center are readily available, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi from the airport will cost around 60 EUR. A taxi from Termini station will cost around 7 EUR. Alternatively, transport can be arranged via the hotel in advance.
